Modeling the Transfer Function of Two-Dimensional SQUID and SQIF Arrays with Thermal Noise

We present a theoretical model for two-dimensional (2D) superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) and filter (SQIF) arrays with overdamped Josephson junctions uniform bias-current injection at 77 K. Our simulations demonstrate the importance of including Johnson thermal noise reveal that only SQUID-loops self-inductance contributions are importance. numerical results establish validity scaling behavior between voltages one-dimensional (1D) 2D SQUID show same applies to maximum transfer functions. The function array can be further optimized by applying optimal bias current, which depends on SQUID-loop junction critical current. investigation reveals exists single dc SQUID. Finally, we investigate voltage response 1D SQIF illustrate effects adding spreads in heights widths loops.
